New Update for Google Pay
Dear Valued Customers,
Please be informed there will be new updates for Google Pay, effective 27 January 2026.
Kindly refer to the table below for details regarding these updates:

Any debit card-i transactions via Google Pay above Ringgit Malaysia Two Hundred Fifty (RM250): (a) Cardholders are required to unlock the device; and (b) PIN verification is required at the point |
To complete a transaction amount above Ringgit Malaysia Two Hundred Fifty (RM250) via Google Pay: (a) Cardholders are required to unlock the device only. (b) PIN verification is no longer required. |
| Google Pay transactions are accumulated to the Contactless Daily Cumulative Limit. | Google Pay transactions will not be added to the Contactless Daily Cumulative Limit. | |
| Note for Mastercard Cardholders | To start enjoying these new practices immediately, please remove and re-add your HLB Mastercard to your Google Wallet. Otherwise, your card will be updated automatically by the end of Q1 2026. | |

- Debit Card-i Product Disclosure Sheets (PDS)
- Junior Debit Card-i Product Disclosure Sheets (PDS)
- Debit Card-i Terms and Conditions (T&Cs)
