The Zakat calculators are according to the method of calculating the zakat as provided by Pusat Pungutan Zakat (PPZ) Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (MAIWP) on its website www.zakat.com.my. For the calculation and payment of zakat in states other than the Federal Territory, please refer to the applicable zakat collection centers of the respective states. The Zakat for deposits is calculated by factoring 2.5% of the total amount of the remaining savings in a year equal or above the nisab.
