Bill of Exchange-i

 

  • Bill of Exchange Purchased-i (BEP-i) and Bill of Exchange Discounted-i (BED-i) are the generic terms used to denote the export or local bills purchased or discounted by the bank which are presented to the bank under collection basis or Letter of Credit negotiation.
     
  • It is a facility granted to an exporter / seller / beneficiary of an export/local Letter of Credit as a mean of providing the working capital requirement for his on-going business.
