Hong Leong Bank Launches Hong Leong SmartLink Account

Kuala Lumpur, 15 March 2007 - Hong Leong Bank (HLB) today officially launched the Hong Leong SmartLink Account, an all-in-one account that gives consumers greater spending power, more savings and exclusive benefits.

The Hong Leong SmartLink Account has the benefits of both a savings and current account. Customers enjoy the convenience of a checking facility and attractive interest rates calculated daily and credited quarterly. And, for qualified customers, they will be given a free for life gold credit card when they maintain a minimum monthly average balance of RM500 in their Hong Leong SmartLink Accounts.

This product will have the most appeal to young and emerging working adults and professionals who are prudent with their money and believe in having good control on their spending. For those keen to save for marriage, a new home, or starting a family, Hong Leong SmartLink Account is a great way to start.
