Special Rate

An SR is a foreign exchange (forex) rate, quoted to customer which is finer than the day’s forex counter rates

MAIN FEATURES

The minimum amount is equivalent to RM 50,000 and above
SR can be requested by branches through telephone. Valued/Regular customers are encouraged to contact the dealers directly to deal. Those transactions will have to be reconfirmed with the branches
SR can be quoted for remittance and trade transactions, e.g. *DD, TT, inward TT, FBEP (sight & usuance), FOBC, FIBC, etc.
Cancellation of SR is strongly discouraged. However, if cancellation is inevitable, any losses incurred will be borne by the customer.
